The Mauna Lani Resort has a few miles of gorgeous beachfront, and the gem of it is the Mauna Lani beach. With some of the softest, silkiest sand you’ll find anywhere, terrific water clarity and that beautiful turqoise water when the sun shines there could hardly be a better place to relax.
Mauna Lani beach is very close to the resort and has outside showers, hammocks and lounge chairs as well as a bar and grill right on the beach. No need for water shoes here – the water is usually calm and gentle and also great for kids.
It’s one of the editors favorites. But if you decide to visit and your not staying at the Mauna Lani Resort, be sure to be respectful and honor the hotel management. We’ve never had a problem, but once we were asked to move to another area to honor paying guests. If asked, show respect so others will still be able to come and enjoy what you are enjoying.
